The DCL-Ex100 explosion-proof electric actuator is a heavy-duty quarter-turn fluid driving device specifically engineered for high-risk flammable and explosive zones, featuring an adjustable turning angle of 0-90°. Operating under standard conditions, this model outputs 1000 Nm of torque (with travel times of 30S or 50S) and offers a maximum torque reserve of up to 1300 Nm, allowing it to seamlessly drive butterfly valves up to DN300 or ball valves up to DN200. To withstand severe petrochemical and oil & gas environments, the robust enclosure utilizes a precise round seam allowance flameproof joint technique; it not only achieves an IP68 submersible physical protection rating but also holds comprehensive global safety certifications, including ATEX/IECEx (Ex db h IIC T4 Gb and Ex h tb IIIC T135°C Db) and North American CSA (Class I, Division 1, Groups C and D T5/T6). Regarding mechanical integration and electrical control, this compact 14.5 Kg unit is equipped with an ISO5211 compliant direct installation mounting base (providing F10/F12 flanges and 22×22 mm or 27×27 mm square drives for valve stem heights ≤40mm) and supports diverse power inputs such as DC24V (113W), AC110V/220V (120W), and AC380V (90W). Depending on site automation requirements, engineering teams can configure the actuator with a 4-20mA analog servo-controller, over-torque protector, PTC dehumidify heater, Modbus communication, or a fail-safe return module, forging a high-precision and maintenance-free safety control loop in complex ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to +55°C.
